The Milestone Transitional Living Program, part of Salt Lake County Youth Services, gives young adults ages 18 to 21 who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness a safe place to live while they build the skills to live on their own.
Help us reach our $10,000 event fundraising goal through ticket purchases and monetary donations.
Participants set monthly goals with case managers and mental health professionals, attend life skill and job training workshops, and connect with higher education. Program fees they pay each month are saved and given back to them when they move out, so they can start life on their own with a little cushion.

Help make a home.
Help a young adult make a home of their own. Milestone’s move-out kits provide everyday essentials for the transition to independent living. New items only, please; contributions of any number of items are welcome.
Kitchen essentials
- Dish set for four: plates, bowls, small plates, and mugs; flatware for four; four large plastic glasses
- Small saucepan with lid, small frying pan, cookie sheet, and three assorted plastic mixing bowls with lids
- Mixing spoon, slotted serving spoon, rubber spatula, pancake turner, and whisk
- Grater, vegetable peeler, can opener, measuring cups and spoons, and dish brush
Bedding and bath
- Twin sheet set with fitted sheet, flat sheet, and pillowcase; pillow; twin blanket; twin comforter
- Two bath towels, two hand towels, and two washcloths; bath mat; shower curtain
Personal care
- Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, soap, comb or brush, and toilet paper
Cleaning and laundry
- Laundry soap, dryer sheets, and laundry basket
- Comet, Windex, paper towels, scrubbing pads, and toilet brush
- Garbage can, broom, dustpan, and Swiffer Sweeper
